An innovative process for the gasification of civil / industrial wastewater treatment dried waste sludge based on two-chamber gasification

Here are some demos to try out LIBPF®:

An innovative process for the gasification of civil / industrial wastewater treatment dried waste sludge based on two-chamber gasification

The purpose of the Waste-to-energy LIBPF® process model is to simulatean innovative waste-to-energy process based on a dual chamber gasification, where a fluid bed circulates between an exothermic oxidation chamber and an endothermic gasification chamber. In this way a low inert-gas syngas and a carbon dioxide-rich exhaust flue gas flow are generated in the two separate chambers, according to the Process Flow Diagram:

If you want to know more on this process you can read the accompanying 2-pages abstract of the thesis “Energy upgrading of civil / industrial wastewater treatment of dried waste sludge” by Gianluca Binello, DICAT/UNIGE.

Have a look at the C++ source code, download the sample results in the form of the mass and energy balance table or download and play with the interactive model developed with LIBPF® 0.9:
