Detailed Description

Vertex model to represent an (optionally reactive) rating heat exchanger.
Performs the iterative Q = U * A * MTD calculation
Unknowns are:

  • Q
  • Thot
  • alfahot
  • Tcold
  • alfacold
  • z[i] (conversion of i-reaction) if equilibrium reactions take place

List of ports:

  • in1 [hotin] inlet of hot streamVL to Exchanger
  • out1 [hotout] of hot streamVL from Exchanger
  • in2 [coldin] inlet of cold streamVL to Exchanger
  • out2 [coldout] outlet of cold streamVL from Exchanger

Options:

  • nReactions Number of reactions, valid range 0..INT_MAX, defaults to 0
